About Us

Our Vision

To help people creating themself a brighter future through their talents, to offer the world handsome, fairtraidet and naturebased outcome - To help people create a better future for themselves through their talents, in order to offer the world beautiful, fair and natural products.

Our vision is reflected in our work: We empower people in northern Benin by supporting them and helping them sell their handmade products in the Western market.
For generations, the women of the Bétammaribé people have braided grass jewelry for their customs. Today, we support them in continuing this tradition while sustainably securing their livelihoods.

Our Story

The history of grass jewelry on the Western market begins in the 1980s with N’Dah’s mother. As a development worker in Benin, she met N’Dah’s father. Together, they taught in Natitingou and initiated numerous projects for rural development. They empowered women to become self-sufficient, fought against illiteracy, and supported the construction of schools and roads.

N’Dah’s mother brought the handmade grass jewelry to Germany and sold it in fair trade shops, allowing the weavers to become financially independent. These sales enabled the funding of numerous social projects.

After almost 25 years, N’Dah and his girlfriend Jasmin want to revive his mother's spirit and, by selling the jewelry, support women in Benin and promote social projects in Natitingou, the city where N'Dah spent his early years.

Our Projects

In our first year, we set ourselves the goal of developing a high-quality, sustainable, and fair product range. We are taking realistic steps to ensure fairness and quality in the long term.

Until we launch our own projects, we are specifically supporting selected initiatives in Natitingou to make a positive impact right now.

So far, we are supporting the Association Gusunon Kinrou (AGK).
