Fertilizer donation for local farmers in Natitingou
We recently had the opportunity to help local farmers in Benin who were in urgent need of fertilizer for their lands. In the villages of the Betammariba people in the Atakora Mountains, people are heavily dependent on agriculture, so crop failures can quickly become a major challenge for families. With our support, fertilizer was therefore purchased to secure the harvest.

By selling our handmade bracelets, we help the Betammariba women earn an additional income, thus supporting and securing their families' livelihoods. They can also send their children to school in the city.
By the way: we not only pay fairly, we also don't want to uproot the weavers from their familiar surroundings, so each woman can weave as much as she wants at home with her children and is not forced to submit anything. In addition, a portion of every piece sold goes back to Natitigou - to the AGK - to support the region and especially the women there.
