Ausbildungsabschluss sechs junger Frauen bei der AGK
Social Impact

Six young women complete their apprenticeships at AGK

We are thrilled to congratulate six young women on successfully completing their training at the Association Gusunon Kinru (AGK)! In a moving ceremony, friends, family members, and supporters gathered to celebrate the hard work and remarkable achievements of the girls. A special highlight was that even Canal 3 Benin was on site to capture this unforgettable moment for television.

The AGK is a center that offers young women, who had to drop out of school for various reasons, the opportunity to catch up on their school education and simultaneously learn the craft of weaving. Many of the girls come from difficult life situations, and the center provides them with a safe space to develop professionally and personally.
Here you can find out more.

A special highlight of the training: At the end of their program, each graduate receives her own loom – a gift from Kinderhilfe Westafrika, which facilitates their entry into professional life and supports them on their path to independence.

We are proud that we can support this project and thank each and every one of you, dear customers. Together we work to offer these young women the best opportunities for a successful and self-determined future.

We wish the graduates all the best and much success for their next steps!
